Match report from our captain Bill Tracey:
On Friday 3rd of February, Bexhill 2 travelled to Eastbourne to take
on their table topping 2nd team.
A close and hard fought match ensued but in the end Eastbourne prevailed by 2.5 to 1.5.
Derek got a well deserved draw on board 4.
On board 3 Bill Luxton made his debut for the second team and continued the fine form that he has displayed for the third team. He put his opponent under great pressure
and eventually his opponent lost on time, but from what was a losing position.
John on 2 and Leo on 1 both fought hard but eventually had to concede defeat.
