On the 26th of March Bexhill 3 went to Horsham to play against their 3rd team.
The team in board order was Lawry, Oli, Samuel and Ed.
First to finish was Ed winning a piece in the opening and then converting comfortably.
Second to finish was Lawry, whose opponent made one mistake in a tight game and was beaten.
Third to finish was Samuel whose game quickly went to a rook and pawn endgame and a draw was agreed.
Last to finish was Oli with both players running low on time a draw was agreed in a complicated position.
This means the final score was 1-3
Meaning that Bexhill 3 will not be relegated and will play in division 2 again next year.
