OUR TOURNAMENT CONTROLLER MICHAEL HAYWARD <\/strong><\/em>– A very special thank you to Michael for his concentration and dedication in organising and conducting the event seamlessly!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GRAND PRIX 1 – Friday 15 May 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The last round clash between James<\/strong> 4\/4<\/strong> And Andrew 3\/4 <\/strong> (the latter having headed the field jointly with James throughout) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Oliver<\/strong> pipping others for second place, unbeaten on 3.5\/4 <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The great efforts of junior newcomers to the club, Isaac<\/strong> and Daniel<\/strong>, with a notable 50% score by Isaac on his debut. Harry<\/strong>, one of our more established juniors performed well. Ashton<\/strong> also competed determinedly despite having been unwell recently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • New members competing : Tony Nash, Clive Garrard, Jonathan Mfula , Lee Stewartson<\/strong> – WELCOME all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 18 club members contesting each game intensely. Only 2 games drawn!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
