It was good to see two new members join us, Jake and Ed. The competition was a 6 round Swiss and the action, as it normally is in Blitz, was fast and furious.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joint Third: Sam (top junior) and Andrew on 4 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Second: Janis on 41\/2 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First: Mark with a perfect 6 from 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well done to all who took part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We plan to hold events such as this on a more regular basis and further details will be published soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cross tables below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bexhillchessclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_7932-1024x724.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-920\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday 14th July, we held a Blitz tournament which was attended by 16 club members.
