ROSE BURGESS – Congratulations!
Here is Karen Burgess’ report :
The English Women’s Championships took place in Kenilworth from 18th – 21st July and Rose took part in the u1700 section.
The atmosphere was notably calm and friendly with no drama!
Rose lost against top seed with a blunder and a lesson learned, which cost her the tournament but she settled with second place with 5.5/7
She is already looking forward to next year.
Here is her fine game from round 5 as annotated by Fritz 19 chess program – Editor
